Join us on Saturday, June 21st for our next community Film Screening of Marighella (2019)
Adapted from the biography by Mário Magalhães, Marighella tells the story of Brazilian Father, Writer and Marxist-Leninist Militant Carlos Marighella. After leaving the Brazilian Communist Party, after failing to respond to the fascist military coup of 1964, Marighella is forced underground and separated from his family in the face of opposition.
Doors open at 7pm and The film starts at 7:15pm, with a brief discussion following the film’s end.
Free entry for Black and Brown People suggested $5-10 donation for all others.
No one will be turned away for lack of donation.
Masks are required and provided along with Covid tests.
