Vijay Rajendran is an innovative leader and technology investor with a history of advising global companies, coaching startups, developing new markets, and creating innovative products and services. He is an instructor in the Climate Angels educational program for new and emerging angel investors in the climate space. Vijay has led portfolio value at 500 Global, a venture capital firm with $2.7 billion under management that invests early in founders building fast-growing technology companies. He led a global team helping startups in over 80 countries, and their founders develop connections, raise capital, and create a thriving community. Previously, he led a venture studio for a global bank, was a startup founder in fintech and ecommerce, and was a management consultant. Vijay received a BS in Business Administration from Boston University as well as an MS in Foreign Service and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Jennifer Turliuk is an entrepreneur, climate tech investor, angel investor, technologist, author, keynote speaker, and consultant dedicated to driving innovation and impact. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Huffington Post, Fast Company, Wired, and more. Jennifer leads and co-instructs Climate Angels, an educational program on climate tech angel investing, with team members, instructors, speakers and mentors from Lowercarbon Capital, MCJ Collective, Climate Capital, Planeteer Capital, CTVC, Earthshot, 500 Startups, Terra.do, Climactic, Voyager, Plug and Play, Gaingels, Elemental Excelerator, and more (https://climateangels.vc) Jennifer is a Partner with Climate Capital Syndicate (https://climatecapital.co), one of the original and most active climate tech funders in the world, with over 330+ investments. She sources, diligences and leads investments into climate tech companies. Jennifer is an angel investor, scout for funds and syndicates, and mentor to entrepreneurs via Techstars and Founder Institute. Jennifer has delivered keynote speeches across stages including MakerCon Europe, TEDx and more, and is represented by National Speakers' Bureau. Her writing can be found in Forbes, Business Insider, Strategy, and various newspapers. Jennifer is a strategic leader and technologist, with experience in strategy, marketing, innovation, product management, software engineering, and prompt engineering across entrepreneurship, venture capital, climate tech, edtech, and AI. Previously, as co-founder and CEO of MakerKids, she pioneered the first makerspace for kids in the world, grew the startup into an edtech company offering virtual classes, earned recognition from major media, secured clients such as Twitter and Microsoft, bootstrapped to revenue self-sufficiency, raised venture capital from investors and exited through acquisition. At Procter & Gamble, she led a multi-functional team and a $10M budget to deliver the biggest launch in 25+ years. She is on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, advising on the future of education alongside senior leaders from Microsoft and Pearson. Jennifer graduated with honors from Queen's University and Singularity University's Global Solutions Program (at NASA Ames). She has been honored with awards including the IEEE Outreach Award, HSC Alumni Hall of Excellence award, and an Honorary Degree from Humber College for her contributions to society. Jennifer loves musicals, dancing, and wind sports. She lives in Toronto with her dog.
