Brainstorming Your Personal Statement and Activities
This session will be an opportunity to discuss the most important elements of writing your Personal Statement and AMCAS Activities and how they should support each other while also standing alone as unique opportunities to describe your journey to medicine. There will also be time for Q+A.
Event objectives:
1) Develop a good understanding of the purpose of the personal statement and how admissions committees utilize it
2) Understand how the activities section of AMCAS interplays with the personal statement and how to best describe your activities
3) Create a process whereby your application themes are best highlighted cohesively, but not redundantly, in these vital portions of the application
