Prayer Circle With Grandmother Clara Thursday 5 PM ET
ABOUT GRANDMOTHER CLARA SHINOBU IURA:
Grandmother Clara Shinobu Iura was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and raised in Sao Paulo Capital. She is the daughter of Japanese immigrants who followed the traditional Buddhist customs. From early on she felt convicted to search for and speak the truth and to fight for social injustice. Grandmother Clara comes from a lineage of spiritual women dedicated to holding the light of justice and integrity. Living an unconventional life in search of her spiritual family, Clara deliberately surrounded herself by diverse communities and quickly began a deep study of political philosophy and justice.
At a certain point Grandmother Clara opened her channels and began connecting and receiving guidance and messages from her spiritual guides. She spent much of her life dedicated to developing these gifts as the messages she received were in service of the preservation of humanity and Mother Earth. "They told me this destruction would continue and that only a change to spiritual consciousness would give hope for our salvation." Years later she found her spiritual home in the Santo Daime community, led by Sabastião Mota de Melo she was invited with open arms to help build their community in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. Today, over 20 years later, Grandmother Clara remains in the community of Mapia as it is a testament to the truth of her chosen spiritual path.
