People who are curious about Activating the Common Good in their own communities.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Using the Six Conversations That Matter protocol and the principle of “connection is the content”, accompanied by some music and a little poetry, participants will be invited to engage in 3 rounds of prompted conversation, interspersed by brief sharing, followed by a whole-group “togethering” and a brief “gift exchange”.
Allow 90 minutes for the full experience.
SCHEDULE (all times approximate)
1:00 opening and grouping
1:10 small group round 1
1:30 small group round 2
1:50 small group round 3
2:10 whole group sharing
2:25 “gift exchange” and closing
2:30 afterparty hang out
Latecomers will be admitted to the main room after each small group round in order to allow for uninterrupted conversation.
ABOUT RIJON ERICKSON
While first and foremost being a Relational Activist, Rijon (pronounced “ryan”) is also an organization development consultant, creative thinking partner and collaborative co-creator, who after two decades of being bought and sold, was exiled from the corporate “empire” in 2019 and has been wandering the freelance “wilderness” ever since.
In addition to being the proprietor, “chef d’cuisine”, music director and default host of the Purple Squirrel Café, Rijon is Chief Operating Officer of The Ennovation Hub, a workforce development non-profit based in Bakersfield, CA and hosts “Riffing with Rijon” on YouTube, as well as co-hosting (with Niels Pflaeging) “BetaCodex LIVE”, also on YouTube.
Rijon’s community work includes being a board member of the Open Space Institute (US), an associate of the BetaCodex Network, and a part-time strategy consultant with the Common Good Alliance.
