About Event

We're bringing together local founders for a hardware hacknight with DeskHog, an open-source, 3D printed, palm-sized slice of developer joy. Switch context from your weekly dose of "quick" calls and building your company to come play in the world of sensors, motherboards, and encoders.

Who is this event for? This is a beginner-friendly hands on workshop for founders who are comfortable working from GitHub and an IDE to build something from scratch. No pre-existing hardware experience is required.

Who is PostHog? We're a customer infrastructure company aiming to equip every developer to build successful products. We're not a hardware company. At least we weren't until we decided to make DeskHog, a developer toy that brings developers joy.

This workshop will be led by Danilo Campos, the co-creator of DeskHog.

Agenda

5:15 - 6:00: Workshop on assembling (Hardware side)
6:00 - 6:30: Workshop on programming (Software side)
6:30 - 7:15: Open exploration time
7:15 - 7:45: Demos to share what you did

Capacity is 25. Laptops are required. We'll supply the necessary components to assemble and build with DeskHog. Food and beverages will be provided.

Attendance requires approval to ensure all attendees will be serious about attending and benefit from participating.

Thank you very much to our venue hosts atVCET without whom this event wouldn't be possible.
