About Event

Blending productivity with enjoyment can seem an elusive task and a source of additional stress for postdoctoral scholars navigating a fast-paced world. Join us on May 21, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM EDT for a session on "Managing a busy postdoc life: the subtle art of harmonizing work and play," organized by the Office of Doctoral and Postdoctoral Life Design and presented by Dr. Andrea Pereyra, Assistant Director of Postdoctoral Life Design.

This workshop will cover strategies and practical steps to help postdocs achieve harmony between professional responsibilities and personal life. Specifically, you will gain insight into managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, setting boundaries, and ensuring space for life commitments, relaxation, and fun. We hope that by the end of this session, you can craft a management toolkit that works for YOU!
