Before each review, please prepare to briefly chat about your portfolio, your goals, and the feedback you’re looking for. We will review 4 portfolios, each for ~ 10-15 minutes. In our #event-live-chat anyone can ask questions, and we’ll do our best to answer them :)

​ 🐰About our speakers

​Allyson is a graphic designer and Illustrator currently contracting at Disney as a Digital Graphic Designer. After joining her first studio and working on websites, branding, and illustration work for a year and a half, she co-founded and ran her own agency for two years doing similar work for small to medium-sized businesses. During this time, she pitched, created, and presented brands, websites, and illustrations to a variety of clients in the food, tech, and retail industry. After some personal reflection and hard questions, she sold her half of the company to her partner and decided to join Disney to get experience in a big in-house company with a brand she cares about. In her free time, she binges video games, casually watches anime, sings too loud in the car, and plays with her Pomeranian, Charlie.

​​Justin is an illustrator and art director currently leading the team of illustrators at Discord. He enjoys gardening, a good beer, and dungeons and dragons.

​Host: Kate is an associate product designer at Spotify and a recent grad from OCAD University, Toronto. As a former graphic designer, she often found herself in the intersection of design, innovation and technology. Drawn to this dynamic space, she transitioned to the product design world through various startup gigs and hackathons. Her mission is to encourage iterative learning and mentorship within the design community.
