Hey Buddies! We are back with our live Portfolio Review sessions. This time, we're spicing it up by using Around & live streaming to our YouTube channel. Portfolios will be reviewed, amazing advice will be shared, and much more wholesome fun will take place!
RSVP + submit your portfolio for review via our Luma page here. Please only submit if you are planning to attend.
Before each review, please prepare to briefly chat about your portfolio, your goals, and the feedback you’re looking for. We will review 4 portfolios, each for ~ 10-15 minutes. In our chat in Around, anyone can ask questions, and we’ll do our best to answer them :)

Joel Derksen - Founder, Studio Otherness
Originally from Canada, Joel’s design practice is filled with complex and nuanced visual solutions for clients who demand sensitivity, insight, and communicable differences in the market.
Start-ups, scale-ups and established brands benefit from his "no stones unturned" approach to problem solving, and his appreciation that complex situations bring forward unique perspectives.
Before founding Studio Otherness, Joel’s focus on executing brand strategy led him to consult on refreshes and re-imaginings for companies such as Bosch, Elsevier, ING and Salomon. He previously worked with consultancies and agencies such as IDEO, HUGE and Landor.
Joel is a consistent presence in the international design scene, sporting over 60 international publications, awards and features in his decade of work.

Andres is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Lowe’s and freelancer for gaming studios. Over the past 6 years he has worked on qualitative and quantitative research projects for games like World of Tanks, Darksiders Genesis, Battle chasers: Nightwar, Remnant: From the Ashes, among others. He specializes in qualitative and mixed methods.
