About Event

About the event

Elizabeth Yin has reviewed over 40,000 pitch decks and invested in hundreds of early-stage startups. She's had wins, losses, and countless lessons when it comes to constructing an investment portfolio.

In this event, we'll talk about:

  • how to think about portfolio construction to maximize your returns

  • how often to write checks and what size checks those should be, especially when you're just starting out

  • pros and cons of investing across a broad range of verticals, versus going niche into one or two industries

Who is this for?

This event is for anyone interested in investing in early-stage startups — think pre-seed to Series A.

If you're considering becoming an investor, have a few investments under your belt, or are fully addicted to the high of angel investing, this event is for you.

All types of investors are welcome!
