#SaveOurCenter CDLS Virtual Leadership Briefing
Powering an Ecosystem of Emergence, Revival, and Sustainability
Please join us on June 25 for an urgent briefing on CDLS's critical future and a crucial discussion on what we can do to save the Center. CDLS has been recognized as an innovative model for advancing workforce development, STEM education and research, higher education, K-12, climate resilience, ocean and health science, and ethical AI—supporting over 500 fellows and collaborating with 60+ organizations. Examples of projects include GIS for Community Health to Marine Biodiversity and Community stewardship.
However, with the termination of a vital $7.5M NSF grant, our center's fellowships, programs, and staff are threatened. We are seeking temporary relief, as well as partnerships that will pave the way for a sustainable future for CDLS's thriving national ecosystem that is shaping climate, an innovation economy, and global STEM leadership. Our goal is to raise $2.5M in emergency funding this year. We also welcome multi-year contributions by 2030. We have raised $1.5M in emergency funding so far.
