Climate Governance Forum
Effective governance is a crucial solution to the climate challenge: helping countries, communities and business improve resilience, make choices and deliver their climate commitments, secure public support, and set the framework to attract and sustain action, investment and accountability.
Join E3G and the International Climate Councils Network (ICCN), in association with Net Zero Lawyers Alliance (NZLA) and the TAI Collaborative, for the inaugural Climate Governance Forum on Governance Day at London Climate Action Week (LCAW) 2025.
The Forum will convene up to 200 stakeholders from climate governance, policy, law and finance for an afternoon of engaging panel discussions and high-level keynotes, followed by a networking reception. The event will also serve as the launch of 'How to Create a Climate Council: A practical toolkit to strengthening climate governance'.
Speakers include:
Sir Jim Skea, Chair, IPCC
Rick Smith, President, Canadian Climate Institute
Jo Hendy, Chief Executive, New Zealand Climate Change Commission
Dumisani Nxumalo, Acting COO, South African Presidential Climate Commission
Åsa Persson, Chair, Swedish Climate Policy Council and Deputy-Director, SEI
Charlotte Scaddan, Senior Adviser on Information Integrity, Office of the UN Under-Secretary-General
