"A San Francisco CHINA Town Hall" will take place on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, from 3:30 pm - 5:45 pm PDT, at the San Francisco Association of Realtors, 301 Grove Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
In-person attendance is full, but you can attend the event online via Zoom.
Produced by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR), a New York-based nonprofit organization, the CHINA Town Hall (CTH) a snapshot of the current U.S.-China relationship and examines how that relationship reverberates at the local level – in our towns, states, and nation – connects people around the country with U.S. policymakers and thought leaders on China.
Since CTH launched in 2007, the NCUSCR has proudly partnered with a range of institutions and civic groups, colleges and universities, trade and business associations, world affairs councils, and think tanks to convene town halls and bring this important national conversation to local communities around America (and a few overseas).
The 2025 CHINA Town Hall program will take place via YouTube live stream on Thursday, April 24th, at 3:30 pm PT to discuss President Trump's China policy 100 days in, with featured speakers Ryan Hass, director of the John L. Thornton China Center at the Brookings Institution, Matthew Turpin, visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, and Lingling Wei, chief China correspondent at The Wall Street Journal.
An in-person panel discussion will follow the Keynote webcast featuring the following Bay Area academic and business leaders:
