AI CoLab Workshop - The national security implications of AI

​Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the face of national security, from being used to bolster cyber resilience to being implemented as a tool of information warfare. As AI technologies continue to evolve, as acutely seen through the emergence of generative AI models like DeepSeek and ChatGPT in recent years, so do their risks. Such tools can be exploited by state and non-state actors alike for a range of malign purposes, including in spreading disinformation and perpetuating cyberattacks.

​Join the AI CoLab for a talk by Afeeya Akhand (she/her), Researcher at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, who will explore the dual-edged nature of AI for Australia’s national security community.
