About Event

Are you hearing the term “networking” thrown around but not sure what it really means, how to do it, or even if you want to do it? Join this talk with CEO & Career Coach Rachel Serwetz to learn about how you can make networking both a comfortable and effective part of your career development. We’ll:

  • Define what networking is

  • Learn how to find the right people to engage with

  • Learn how to approach professionals and phrase your outreach well

  • Learn where, when, and why you’d pursue networking efforts

  • Learn how to handle informational chats strategically and how to follow up

  • Debunk common hesitations and learn how to build confidence while networking

About the Speaker:

After this, she worked in HR Research at Aon Hewitt and attained her Technology MBA at NYU Stern. Throughout her career, she has helped hundreds of professionals with career exploration and for the past 6.5 years she has been building her company, WOKEN, which is an online career exploration platform to coach professionals through the process of clarifying their ideal job and career path.
