About Event

Complete your California native garden — bring water into your nascent wildlife habitat! For the creatures in our drought-prone locale, access to even a small garden water feature can often make the difference between survival and certain demise.

To help us explore the many water features we can envision, from small container ponds to elaborate cascading waterfalls, we’ve invited an expert, James Hiestand of Dreamscapes Water Features to speak about the following topics:

-LIVING VS TREATED SYSTEMS

-BENEFITS OF A GARDEN WATER FEATURE

-TYPES OF WATER FEATURES AND COST ESTIMATES

--CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANT PALETTE FOR PONDS OR WETLANDS
