Naren is a musician and composer on the bansuri — Indian bamboo flute — hailing from Grammy winner Ravi Shankar’s school of music.
Their performance will explore live improvisations across a range of emotions amidst a surrounding soundscape — blending Indian concepts with Western elements.
4:30 | Kerem Göksel
Kerem is an oudi and synth tinkerer from Turkey. Fascinated by the entangled histories of the peoples of the balkans, caucasus, anatolia and the fertile crescent, he chases the inevitable blending of joy and sorrow so characteristic of the musics of the region.
Their performance will juxtapose the organic timbres and traditional musical forms of the oud against the electric sounds and open possibilities of modular synthesis.

Barbara Nerness is an artist, musician, and researcher from the south bay. Barbara improvises multichannel music with body sounds (heartbeat, breath, brainwaves), guitar, voice, field recordings, and other objects, often dealing with themes of mental health, surveillance, incarceration, and technological subversion.
Their performance will explore circularity and time travel through a collage of cassette recordings from the past 15 years, accompanied by live improvisation.

Entropic + AKSAW is an experimental electronic music duo known for combining spoken word poetry with glitched out soundscapes. Formed in 2019, the pair draws from ambient, industrial, and avant-garde electronica to create ritualistic experiences.
The duo consists of producer Entropic (Ritwik Deshpande) and sound artist AKSAW (Akshay Sawhney). Their name reflects their creative approach — embracing chaos and decay (entropy) while meticulously crafting audio structures (AKSAW: Audio Kinetic Sound And Waveforms).
