Join us for an exhilarating Fourth of July celebration in Sausalito!
Pivotal, the groundbreaking aeronautics company behind the Helix, the world’s first commercially available personal aircraft you don’t need a pilot license to fly, and the City of Sausalito, have partnered to bring you an unforgettable display of aerial innovation.

Soak in the festive atmosphere of Sausalito as we take to the skies for multiple flight demonstrations to and celebrate July 4th!

Parade:
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Starts at the corner of Second Street and Main Street, ending at Dunphy Park
Show Flights:
First Show Flight: 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM - Immediately following the national anthem
Second Show Flight: 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
We will also commence with additional flights throughout the day.
Location: Dunphy Park, near the display area for the Helix aircraft; Gabrielson Park for the evening flight .
Registered attendees will be sent a text message with flight updates prior to takeoff, be given an opportunity to experience the thrill of flying in a Helix firsthand with a ride in our mobile flight simulator, guaranteed to amaze, as well as access to post-event videos and photos!
The Helix is like no other aircraft on Earth. It weighs less than 350 pounds and takes off vertically with thrust from its eight fully redundant electric motors into a hover, and then cruises at speeds over 60 mph for about 20 miles or 20 minutes, whichever comes first. It lands vertically as well—no runway needed! Helix is a smile-maker, leaving its pilots in awe, not wanting to come down. It's an absolute dream.
You don't need a pilot license to fly a Helix. Pivotal certifies all its pilots through extensive safety training and flight simulation exercises.
