Pitch-a-Thon is an inaugural intercollegiate pitch competition hosted by IDEA, Northeastern University’s Official Venture Accelerator. This event spans ten universities throughout the Greater Boston Area highlighting the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving from the greatest undergraduate founders. Ventures included represent the below universities:
Northeastern
Babson
Boston College
Boston University
Bentley
Emerson
Harvard
Suffolk
Tufts
Wentworth
We know not every young founder can afford to miss classes for investor events, attend networking times, or showcase themselves on a similar playing field in fundraising. Therefore, the event's mission statement is “Innovation is on our campuses” to further exemplify the diverse and often overlooked founders currently pursuing a degree and a venture.
We are here to empower young entrepreneurs and connect them to the right resources and networks to continue their success. The prize pool, funded by corporate sponsors, will be divided according to the panel of esteemed judges after the pitches to allow for equal access and opportunity.
