"Let's unfuck sustainability" night w/Leyla Acaroglu
Join Us for a Bold Conversation on Circularity and Sustainability
We're bringing together a lively crew of passionate climate advocates and sustainable design doers for an evening that's part exploration, part critique, part very tasty snacks & drinks, and all about fresh perspectives to level up your thinking.
Our event will kick off with a brief but insightful overview from sustainability expert Dr. Leyla Acaroglu, exploring where the circularity space is headed and touching on key sustainable design trends—what’s working, what’s not, and what the future might hold. Her insights will lay the groundwork for an evening of thought-provoking discussions, and creative reflection.
Next, we’ll shift to a lively session led by Julio Salazar, co-founder of Fuckup Nights, where you'll hear two unforgettable (and perhaps a little cringeworthy) stories of sustainability missteps—because we learn the most from our failures. Then, we’ll invite the audience to join a quirky quiz/game designed to challenge your familiarity on some of the biggest design and sustainability blunders of our time.
As we close out the evening, you’ll dive into a fast-paced Design Challenge where you’ll tackle absurd (but very real) sustainability problems. It’s a fun, hands-on way to flex your strategic thinking muscles and come up with creative opportunities you can take back to your organization.
That’s right—some of these insights and reflections will influence your 2025 strategic planning process. This isn’t just another event; it’s a space to spark connections that will help you approach next year differently.
So bring a co-founder, colleague, or friend who's ready to challenge conventional thinking and inspire innovative approaches to solving the climate crisis.
Whether you're a creative, designer, sustainability advocate, or climate tech entrepreneur, this is your chance to connect with like-minded leaders—and our world-class co-facilitators.
