​LA Climate Founders and Funders Event

​Women in Climate Investing and Finance (WICIF) is partnering with our friends at Crosscut, one of the biggest seed-stage investors in LA, to host an intimate gathering with LA's leading climate tech folks. Special thanks to our partners, J.P. Morgan and Cooley, for their generous support to make this event free for the community.

​The Why: Community! We love bringing people together. And we especially love the people who are building climate solutions.

​We're putting this event on so that climate founders can build impactful connections with fellow like-minded innovators addressing complex and pressing challenges and for climate investors to engage with potential partners and meet with founders.

​Under the climate umbrella, various sectors play a crucial role in addressing climate challenges. These include Advanced Materials, the Built Environment, Carbon Technology, Energy and Grid, Food and Agriculture, Hardware, Intelligence and Adaptation, and Transportation and Mobility. Each sector brings its unique perspective and potential for collaboration.

​Climate entrepreneurs are the driving force behind the transformation of the status quo. But it takes time and effort and is not an overnight matter. Supportive innovation ecosystems are crucial in creating environments where creativity, collaboration, and ideas thrive.

​By bringing climate founders and funders together, we aim to facilitate diverse networks, foster collaboration, and support those who understand the climate industry's complex challenges, instilling hope and motivation in all participants. And who doesn't like a good party?!
