Speaker bios:
Rifke Sadleir is a creative coder and educator. She works with clients and collaborators primarily across the arts, fashion, music and environmental/social justice. She teaches digital design and coding at several universities across London, including CCI, Ravensbourne and Greenwich. Rifke’s work focuses largely on worldbuilding and digital nostalgia. Lucy Birley is a Colour, Material and Finish designer based in London. Having started out designing prints & fabrics for luxury fashion, she moved into CMF design, working across aviation, product, automotive and consumer electronics. She's the Lead CMF Designer at Nothing.
Astrid Vanhuyse is a French industrial designer based in London. She completed an MA in industrial design. She worked for design consultancies in Paris, Tokyo and London, then as an independent designer. She collaborated with major brands and innovative start-ups, designing across diverse fields such as robotics, period products, furniture. In 2022, she co-founded the design studio Akasaki Vanhuyse.
