​ABOUT RAM DASS

​Ram Dass has been an influential teacher in the spiritual community for decades. His messages of self love and devotion to one's own practice have shaped a lot of the core values of what Superbloom stands for. Even after his passing in 2019, his recorded lectures and teachings live on.

In an effort to make his teachings more accessible and approachable, we're hosting a series of "Ram Dass nights," where we'll gather, engage in a short breathwork and meditation practice, and then sit around a beautiful rooftop fire pit in Santa Monica while listening to a Ram Dass lecture. After the lecture, we'll open the space to questions and general discussion. 

This series is called "Sit Around the Fire," which is a reference to one of Ram Dass' famous metaphors about this small ember of Self Love and Presence that lives within each one of us, and once discovered, we fan this ember into a beautiful fire. "And pretty soon you realize that all we're going to do for eternity is sit around the fire."
