It would be modest to say that Lumino is proud to present its next guest. We are, in fact, ecstatic that Ed Kashi has agreed to speak with us on Monday, May 24th at noon Central Daylight Time.
For more than 40 years, Ed has been looking through the eyepiece of his cameras, documenting the unvarnished stories of people’s lives. Whether motion or still, Kashi captures the authenticity of his subject matter within the frame and does it with both grace and compassion. His long list of awards is fitting given the power and quality of his life’s work. And of course, his photography and films have been exhibited worldwide.
In this upcoming live stream, we will focus on some of his more recent work, and the particular challenges he sees in documenting our world today.
