Do you have a business or are about to start one but not sure how to go about trademarking your business name or logo? Do you know how to do searches in the trademark database without having to speak to an attorney first? In this workshop, we will explore the basics of trademark law, including what trademarks are, how they're used in business, and how they're registered. We will also discuss strategies for choosing and protecting a strong trademark, and how to avoid infringing on the trademarks of others.
