💖 Try Oki Duo, an interactive AI tool designed to help you experience dual empathy
Dual empathy is when you feel something for a character and it also brings up a memory or emotion from your own life. Oki Duo AI Tool (Built on Playlab.ai) helps you explore both.
Type in the name of any character on display at the art show, read their backstory, and receive a thoughtful reflection prompt that invites you to connect the character’s experience to your own life. You can even reflect on the art jointly (Such as with a family member, or a friend).
The tool does not record personal information.
About the Artist
Dr. Sonia Tiwari is a children's media researcher and character designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her research explores how fictional characters can facilitate children's learning experiences. She holds an MFA in Animation from Academy of Art University, San Francisco, and a PhD in Learning, Design, and Technology at Penn State.
