The Power of Perception: Drawing to See

​This workshop is for anyone who feels inclined to draw what they see, or for those looking for a new type of meditative practice. No drawing experience necessary! We will learn some basic observational drawing skills while discussing how to move from merely "looking at" the world, where we are separated from what we are trying to draw, to truly "seeing" with fresh eyes, free from judgement and expectation. This workshop will focus on drawing as a healing process that you can tap into at any time.

​Materials: Pencil or pen and paper are all that are required, although drawing in any medium you want to try out is highly encouraged!

​Subject Matter: You can use the skills we will learn to draw anything! Spring flowers are great to practice drawing, anything from dandelions to daffodils!
