~ About Our Speakers ~ Dr. Nancy Li is a Director of Product, a Mentor and a YouTuber. She was the youngest engineering Ph.D. then transitioned to a product manager. Within 4 years, she was promoted to the Director of Product at a top family business in the world. She had held leadership roles at Verizon and Shell Oil. She is also an alumnus of BU and MIT. Her goal is to help highly-motivated individuals transition to product management and help them to get the compensation they want. Pat Chaisang is a founder of EMPOWER International Students and a Product Manager at TELUS. Having moved from Thailand to Canada for her bachelor’s degree, Pat realized how difficult it is for international students to build a career and professional network in a new country from the ground up. Her passion for building community and bringing out the best in people inspired her to found EMPOWER International Students with the sole purpose to help international students jump-start their careers in a new country. As a founder of EMPOWER, she leads a team of 10 to help support thousands of international students in career development through a series of events & workshops, mentorship programs, and various job search support.
Pat has experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, and program management, working with top technology brands and retailers. Prior to joining TELUS, she was a business specialist at Best Buy Canada, overseeing business operations of the advertising & eCommerce programs. She previously worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at SAP and built a community of SAP advocates & evangelists around the world. As a Product Manager at TELUS, she manages content merchandising on the Optik TV platform, focusing on personalization strategy and customer experience. Having come from the retail industry, she truly values a customer-first approach and enjoys bringing a data-driven mindset to transform ideas into reality.

Vivek Shivaswamy is a passionate Product Leader and a Creative Technologist. He currently leads the India Products at HireRight focusing on new data driven technology initiatives. Prior to joining HireRight, he has worked in various roles at Samsung Electronics from Strategic Partnerships & Business Development to Ecosystem Evangelism & Community Building finally wearing the hat of a Product Manager overseeing the IoT Standards strategy for India. Vivek started his Product journey as an APM intern at Microsoft. He is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and NITK Surathkal and is actively working towards helping aspiring product managers transition to their dream role. Khyati Shastri is a passionate Product leader at Panasonic focused on digital software solutions. At Panasonic she has led several teams around product development, project management, and quality assurance. Her most recent achievement was improving efficiencies during customer implementations through standardization and product education across diverse international teams. Her passion is in customer interactions, product solutions, user experience, project management and program strategy. Originally from Mumbai, she came to the USA at age 18 to pursue her Bachelors in Electrical Engineering followed by an MBA. Her belief in continuous learning led her to get certified as Professional Management Professional (PMP) and a Scrum Master. Her goal is to help new graduates navigate their way to the Project and Product management roles in digital software technology.
