MindSwap 3: Urban Mythologies

​Archetypes drift, they change. The elixir of the gods is now mountain dew - LiveWire. The unconscious has been sublimated by the deep tracks A train where hungover marketing interns try to find meaning in the remnants of a hinge date. Demagogues are elected, they’re nipple piercings glimmer through their polos as they become an extension of the invisible hand. How quaint, to assume that this is all new.

​We are the rumbling patterns, the music of the spheres, the masks have changed, but the structures are still intact - piloting our flesh. In this chaotic exhibition we invite you to submit work, or talks around the theme of “Urban Mythologies”.

​The exhibition runs opens July 18th and runs until July 27th. There are two events — the opening on Friday July 18th at 7pm and the MindSwap talks on Sunday July 27th from 2-4pm. Installation will take place after 6pm on July 17th and after 12pm on July 18th.

​The space is in the typo.inc office in SOHO at 474 Broadway.
