ARTISTS

Grace & Moji

“Indie-pop disruptors Grace & Moji are on a roll when it comes to releasing mind-bendingly good tracks, all of which are inspired by their unique love story. Grace & Moji have reached a massive audience in the last few months due to their potent songs, which deal honestly with their contrasting personal backgrounds—and the ups and downs of their whirlwind marriage.”–Galore Magazine.

Their collaboration started in December 2021 with a series of demos recorded in their home studio addressing challenges in their relationship in real time. Grace Hong and Martin Wave(aka Moji) come from vastly different backgrounds. Martin grew up in the forests of Sweden and started producing music when he was 10 years old, leading him into a successful career as an award-winning platinum producer, composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist working with some of the biggest names in music. The child of Korean immigrants, Grace grew up in a chaotic home environment marked with violence and mental health issues. She left home when she was 14 and went on to establish a career in international development and as a corporate executive and eventually hit a breaking point that brought her back to music.

The couple got married at the start of the pandemic after dating for several months. Fueled by the beauty and challenges of coming together under extraordinary circumstances, they started to create a body of work inspired by their desire to grow within themselves and in their relationship. Their debut EP is a raw expression of their two voices fusing in the search for deeper meaning and connection, receiving praise from major outlets like Flaunt, LADYGUNN, Wonderland, LA Weekly, and others.
