​Come play a poker game with real stakes! Like a donor lottery, but you can tip the scales towards your favorite cause if you play your cards right. We'll have fun taking calculated risks, and championing charities.

​You can pick any charity from a curated selection of high-impact nonprofits to write on your nametag. At the end of the tournament, all funds raised will be directed toward the charity chosen by the winner(s).

​Details

​Game: The rock-paper-scissors variant of Texas Hold’em — a fun twist that makes the game faster and more approachable

​Buy-in: $100 (all proceeds go to charity)

​Location: Lighthaven, Berkeley

​Food: There will be plentiful snacks!

​Schedule:

​12:30 PM: Doors open.
1:00 PM: Tournament begins.
2:00 PM: No new players after this point.
~5:00 PM: Tournament concludes — we’ll keep raising the stakes to ensure an exciting (and timely) finish.
