Dolmenwood with Aaron

​This is an RPGFest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

​Dolmenwood is "a swathe of tangled woods, fungus-encrusted glades, and foetid marsh on the wild borders of civilisation. Rife with intrigue, secrets, and magic, Dolmenwood draws travellers of adventurous spirit, daring them to venture within."

Winter's Daughter is an introductory adventure wherein the PCs set out to retrieve a ring from a burial mound deep in the woods. One PC (randomly determined) has received an inheritance, among which are papers indicating the location of an old family tomb and a genealogical connection to Sir Chyde, fabled hero of the Wood. The PC and their companions (the party) have located the tomb and are prepared to enter to retrieve the wondrous ring mentioned in the papers. What will you find inside?

This is an old-school style system and adventure in which players rely on their wits, and not just what's on their character sheet. Creative problem solving and non-combat solutions are well rewarded, usually with treasure!

We'll play this game with the Dolmenwood Character Generator, the Dolmenwood SRD, and the Dolmenwood Players' Book.
