Dawn Joyce
Dawn has worked in health policy at the federal, state and local levels for more than two decades. This includes time in the U.S. Senate, state public health departments, collaborations with state Medicaid, housing, and human service entities, and building bridges between levels of government, local communities, and philanthropy. Applicable to current federal debates, her expertise centers around Medicaid with an in depth understanding of both policy and the crucial role it plays on the ground. She works closely with a range of foundations at both the national and state level and is deeply involved in the effort to protect Medicaid. Her experience also includes on the ground work with collaborations, alliances, home visitation programs, and other areas of public health with extensive focus on maternal and child health. From a personal perspective, she has navigated the journey of balancing parenthood with a meaningful career -- something she is tremendously grateful for. She looks forward to meeting and learning about you.
