📝 Talks/Abstracts
Yingjun Wu - Everything You Wanted to Know About RisingWave but Were Afraid to Ask
When we started RisingWave four years ago, we set out with a bold mission to democratize stream processing. Fast forward four years, RisingWave isn't just an idea anymore; it's a robust, production-ready stream processing system trusted by over 1000 enterprises and fast-growing startups. Looking ahead, we now aim to equip every streaming data user with a complete end-to-end platform – one that doesn't just process data, but also serves it, stores it effectively, and plugs seamlessly into the wider data ecosystem.
In this, Yingjun will walk you through how we built RisingWave, highlighting two key design decisions: making RisingWave compatible with PostgreSQL and leveraging S3 as primary storage architecture. Then he’ll elaborate on what’s next and share his vision of moving beyond just stream processing. Yingjun will share his ideas about building integrated, end-to-end platforms that seamlessly connect real-time processing with real-time serving and long-term storage. He will present RisingWave roadmap that focuses on two major areas: expanding real-time serving capabilities and enhancing Iceberg integration and storage optimization.
Anders Wittfeldt - Driving Critical Connectivity with RisingWave Lolo Unify uses RisingWave to power real-time stream processing across billions of daily events. By combining RisingWave’s SQL-native engine with our programmable network platform, we enable dynamic CDR mediation, instant fraud detection, and event-driven triggers—without deep packet inspection or heavy integrations.
For Lolo it's all about giving network control back to the customer. In this talk Anders Wittfeldt will share how we turn raw network traffic into real-time insights and actions—letting customers localize, secure, and monetize their critical asset connectivity at scale.
