This event is part of the Relevance AI Change Agents initiative, created to bring more diversity, visibility, and momentum to historically underrepresented groups in tech and AI. The evening includes a keynote, panel discussion, and networking dinner, all facilitated by Relevance AI’s team of engineers, product specialists, and internal AI agent builders.

Speakers
Keynote: Angela Shi is the Founder and CEO of Empathetic AI, building AI solutions tailored for finance professionals. They launched Luna, Australia's first AI tax copilot, backed by the National AI Centre and supported by CSIRO’s Data61. Prior to founding Empathetic AI, Angela spent 14 years in global fintech as a finance professional, including roles as CFO. Today, Empathetic AI focuses on transforming the accounting, tax, and finance sectors through trusted, domain-specific AI applications.
Interviewer: Georgina Healy has spent 15 years in tech and is passionate about building community in fast-moving times. She leads an AI Accelerator supporting top startups to scale smarter, and hosts In the Blink of AI—a podcast where leading AI innovators unpack breakthroughs and share practical insights.Her path has been anything but linear: she began as a chemical engineer, spent 7 years in tech consulting, then launched and sold her first startup during lockdown, growing a vibrant community of thousands of parents. She’s also worked as a VC investor, but ultimately returned to what she loves—connecting people and ideas. She’s friendly—come say hi!

Beth Lovell is the Co-founder and CPO of FOBOH, an AI-native platform helping F&B wholesalers scale sustainably and reduce waste. She brings deep domain and product expertise from leading Woolworths B2B’s digital transformation and heading product and tech teams at WooliesX.
Sam Garven is the Co-founder of Hello Canopy, a reporting platform that helps employees speak up about workplace issues and gives businesses the tools to take action. With personal experience of staying silent and an HR background in fast-growing companies like Zip and Kinde, she’s on a mission to build a world of work where everyone is heard.
Sally Yu is an Investment Principal at King River Capital, where she backs founders building the future with AI and frontier tech. She uses AI tools daily, including Relevance agents, to supercharge her workflows.
