Felix, Co-Founder / CEO of ATRX
Felix Bustos III is the Co-Founder & CEO of ATRX, where he is leading the development of the Hummingbird Space Plane that can take off from a runway, deploy small satellites, and land on any runway in the world. The Hummingbird is 80% cheaper to launch than a SpaceX Falcon 9. Prior to co-founding ATRX, he served in leadership and senior-level positions at Virgin Galactic, Virgin Advanced Programs (Virgin Orbit), The Spaceship Company, BAE Systems, and Lockheed Martin Skunk Works. Felix also served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, as an intelligence officer, a joint staff officer in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and U.S. Northern Command, and at the Defense Innovation Unit in Mountain View, California. Felix has degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Harvard University.
