About the Speaker
Jessica Lee is an experienced Learning Design Manager, with a keen interest in facilitating discussions across a range of complex topics. She curates learning experiences for recent graduates as they begin their careers and is more recently engaged in designing a program to support newcomers overcome unique challenges as they set up their lives here in Canada. As part of her work in the entrepreneurial space, she delves headfirst into topics like failure, dealing with uncertainty, imposter syndrome, tapping into the art of storytelling to help others feel a little less alone. She is also the creator and host of The Long & Short, monthly storytelling events and workshops where ordinary people share their true and personal stories related to a theme. She is currently the Learning Design Manager at Venture for Canada, and is based in British Columbia, Canada.
