🪸 Why are Verification and AI important for Climate Analytics?
The lack of data lineage results in the inability to trace ecological data and reproduce the analytics underlying carbon sequestration estimations and investment potential for nature-based projects. This causes a lack of transparency and trust in carbon and biodiversity credit issuance and ecological investments.
We will explore how AI, blockchain, verifiable computation, and eco-service analysis can resolve the climate funding gap through a communal round table discussion with practitioners and researchers from the AI and climate fields.

About the Organizer
Ecomonitor is a climate analytics and verified compute project. We are developing a data lineage product for ecological data and a complex model for ecological impact, including hybrid system dynamics and agent-based models that fuse with AI systems. Our premise is that ecological analysis needs to be de-black-boxed to support informed decision-making from public and private actors.

About Truebit
Truebit is building the Verification Layer that secures offchain data behind every on-chain transaction. App developers use Truebit to certify data from real-world systems, safely move data across chains, and transparently automate the verification of complex transactions. Truebit’s decentralized compute network offers immutable proof of authenticity for critical information, algorithms, and network interactions, creating trust in high-stakes transaction environments like decentralized finance and real-world asset tokenization.
