Join us for the Techstars Startup Weekend Africa Botswana Pitch Event!
This event will celebrate the work of the teams participating in the Techstars Startup Weekend Africa Botswana.
The Pitch Event is a unique opportunity to see our Startup Weekend entrepreneurs pitch the ideas they have been developing over the weekend to a panel of judges (investors, local-ecosystem actors and entrepreneurs) and connect with the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Botswana!
Agenda of the event
2:00 PM : Doors open.
3:00 PM: Pitches start. Each team will get 3' on stage and will receive 5' feedback by the judges.
5:30 PM : Wrap up and Founder Story panel
6:30 PM : Dinner and networking. Let's celebrate the teams' hard work together!

About the Techstars Startup Africa Botswana
Startup Weekend is a 54h-long program during which the best would-be entrepreneurs in Southern Africa and Botswana will have the chance to meet a team, ideate, receive mentorship and pitch their idea to a panel of judges. The objective is to offer would-be entrepreneurs the opportunity to test whether the startup life is indeed for them.
More than 400,000 people have participated in Startup Weekends in more than 150 countries, and the Startup Weekend methodology has successfully yielded thousands of companies, some of which became unicorns.
This Startup Weekend will focus on supporting teams based in Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
This invitation is not for 54h-long acceleration- Techstars Startup Weekend Africa Botswana, instead it is for the pitches on the final day of the Startup Weekend (March 30). You can see and share the registration for full startup weekend here.
