🎥Viral Videos!

Hi Founder,

How many times did you think, “if only I could just go viral” or “once this goes viral”? The buzzword “viral” is something we all aspire to. Viral marketing isn’t a new concept. If you watched “Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?” you heard it was popular in the early 90’s too. It’s just a key concept of marketing that never goes out of style.

With social media, viral media has only gained more popularity because anyone now, in theory, can make a viral video.  Here are a few tips that I have found that work:

  • Post on TT/IG 3x/day

  • Consistent times that you see work for your audience

  • Aligning with trends etc. but making sense for your brand

  • Shocking (breast pumps, factory glitch etc.)

  • Authentic/raw (bye-bye highly produced and expensive video production)

Be prepared that it may be time-consuming and lots of disappointments when videos that you thought were great fall flat.

If you have gone viral on a video or so before. Then, feel free to reuse the video over again. You can make small tweaks and repost. Also, be sure to engage with the folks that saw your video. Comment back, and comment on their videos to keep the engagement.

With all that said, I used to joke when I worked on the Coca-Cola account (a client that always wanted to just go viral) that I have this button on my desk that I could just push and BAM, your content and marketing campaign went viral.

At the end of the day though, you are truly looking for growth. You can’t just bank on viral social media. Tons of founders have reached out to me to help them after they blew up on TT. They soon realize it isn’t something you can easily recreate or bank on, and you need holistic marketing plans to help them along the way. This is where I can help. Feel free to reach out if you need some marketing support next year!

Client Highlights:

Food 52

Earlier this year, I worked with Food 52 to help them create a strategy to break through a specific client. They were getting limited responses for their outreach, they felt they weren’t connecting to the right people and weren’t sure how to navigate. They brought me on to help them create a sales strategy roadmap to help them break through. I also was able to advise on the perspective of those they were pitching to, which really helped them improve their offering and product. Through my 15 years of experience in CPG, I was able to use my connections to open up doors for them to walk right into the room. With our partnership, they were able to go from limited productive meetings to over 7 different leads that were easily low-hanging fruit to convert. I am so grateful for the opportunity to support Jacqui and her team.

This past month, I have been taking on more clients for marketing coaching. Some entrepreneurs are just needing direction, to help them to achieve their business growth.

My clients have said “Yes, this is exactly what I needed. I eventually will need marketing management but for now, I just need the brainstorming, goal setting, report reviewing, and accountability.”

Given the popularity, I can only take on one more client for coaching in 2023. I’d love for it to be you! Yes, you. Let me help you hit your business goals next year.

The coaching program includes:

  • 1 hour Monthly meetings (goals, accountability, brainstorming)

  • Email access to answer questions and support

  • Education and transition to the understanding of marketing

  • Guaranteed growth in your business
