Greetings πŸ‘‹ β€” let's play in the world of possibility

Hey all,

I've been challenging myself to write more, and get things out of draft mode β€” a challenge that has so far led to a blog on my own positive reinforcement flywheels, reflecting on finding my own harmony on the internet, and even a TikTok I previously wouldn't have posted because it wasn't good enough.

This all being said β€” it's been, freeing? I'm learning to take time to play in the world of possibilities a bit more. ✨

And one under explored possibility is the space of this Luma newsletter. In this space I plan to:

  • Share updates on what I'm working on πŸ”¨

  • Share events that I'm excited about, hosting, or attending πŸ“…

  • Build relationships with more amazing humans doing things in this universe πŸ’«

Into this? Cool β€” let's keep in touch.
Not your jam? That's cool too.

A friend recently replied to something I wrote with this:

Really love yourself: look in the mirror and make amends, not because a magazine article or social media post says it's okay, but because you're all you've got. Because you respect yourself as a person, as a human being. Help those you love, not those who others have told you need help.

... Spend your energies on what makes you and yours happy.

So my question to you is this β€” how are you spending your energy on what makes you and yours happy?

Here's a few things that I'm spending my energy on that make me happy:

  • Reading β€” lately I've been into understanding the systems that have influenced so much of the world we live in. The Age of Surveillance Capitalism has been a great read.

  • Grill Dad Shenanigans β€” My panny hobbies were fermenting, cocktails + grilling. This meant much

  • Thinking about how we foster connection β€” I was asked recently, what is my why? and looking back into my non-linear career path, I'm passionate about fostering spaces for those who do things together. πŸ’œ

Future events + shenanigans I hope to share joy with you at!

What are you up to? Where are you spending your energy? What motivates you? What are you scared of? Whats on your mind?

Reply to this email + let me know.

Until next time, friends. πŸ’«
