Can startups help us solve for our Plastics'​ mess?

​Plastics are a mess. Today, 400+ million tons of plastic are produced annually, and the majority ends up in landfills or is incinerated.

⚠️ Plastic mess is impacting us. From increasing greenhouse emissions, affecting health, entering food systems, and more.

♻️ We can adopt 3 R’s - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. It is happening as of today, though we can do so much more.

🚀 Tech startups have a big role to play in solving this mess by introducing new techniques in recycling tech, subtle ways to reduce our plastic consumption, or novel business models to make reusing more economically efficient. Much more support is needed. The time to act is now!
