​To be known for anything is to have chosen at one particular moment to give your all to that thing, sometimes at the detriment of other things, and often times at the expense of yourself.

​My first notes of music were singing along to Janet's "Revolution" at the top of my lungs, as told by my Mother. I was 3 at the time, but even then, I guess I knew what I was destined for. My father has his own version of a first - the first time I told him I would not make my home in the city they called home; I was 5. I knew then that I would find a place somewhere and fill it up with art.

​I've been creating since then, since before I knew it was a viable option for a career. When I graduated high school, there was little in the way of a "creative lifestyle", but I endeavored to live it and set out to do just that. My road has been a winding one, from signing my first deal at 21, to managing my first artist, and launching my first business at 24, then failing by 25, working at M&A funds, call centers, and the occasional side hustle to get by - to leading multi-million dollar efforts at the largest companies. I've seen a lot.

​My Dad likes to say that I've done more in my 18 years of working than most people have done in their lifetimes. I've walked away from opportunity after opportunity based on a deep knowing that I was meant for more. If it didn't align with my spirit, then I couldn't commit to it fully. The thing I always found my way back to was music. As a writer, I found myself lost in the lyrics. As a community-builder, I found myself wanting to build ecosystems for the artists to get more out of the changing tides. That's when Visionary Rising Agency was born - a single act that would come to define 29.

​Saying "Yes" to Apple five years ago has become a defining moment for my 30's. I did not know it at the time but saying yes to building platforms, processes, and people there would open up opportunities for me to build creator ecosystems later down the line.

​I said goodbye to Apple a few months ago and came to realize that it was time to say goodbye to even more in order to fully embrace where the road has been pushing me all along. I'm choosing to fully commit myself to my endeavors in technology, venture, and creator ecosystems.

​I will continue building the agency, spending my time investing efforts into building the future of work for all creators, not just ones who happen to be musically inclined; and consulting companies working to transform how artists build, interact with audiences, and engage the world around them. I believe wholly in the future of work, NFTs, Web3, and the ramifications for artists who are able to define the future on their own terms. I'm excited again about exploring new concepts, trying, failing, and learning my way through. In a space that has most of the rules unwritten, I'm excited to be a part of writing them as an entrepreneur, creator, and investor.
