Hello! 👋

I'm Ishaan, and I organize community events at DeepSource. These e-mails are meant to keep you updated about our latest community activities. I promise it's all talk, no spam.

What we've been up to →

The original plan was to organize a Kubernetes meetup in October, but the dates clashed with DevOps Days BLR. Then it hit me — this year, there has been a shortage of Python community events. So we organized .meetup/python and here are the slides from the talks:

  1. "Is this really possible in Python!?" by Tushar.

  2. "Leveraging Frappe to help social organizations" by Vishal.

  3. "Writing composable software" by Anand.

What's next →

During .meetup/python, I was discussing with the guests the possible topics for the next event, and many folks suggested Java. It got me thinking; Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Doordash, and many other big tech startups have Java in their tech stack. Java is a highly integral part of most products in some way or another, so we'll be bringing folks from the Java community together for .meetup/java!

The agenda is a work in progress, but event registrations are open, so get yourselves a spot and maybe even propose a talk. 😉
And as always, join the .meetup community to stay updated.

Catch you around, Au Revoir!
