🎣Click Bait 4 Businesses

​“Clickbait” sounds like such a scummy word, and I know that you promised yourself that you wouldn’t stoop to that level, but studies show that it takes about 7 times for people to see your brand before they even consider connecting with you. So even if it’s something you weren’t planning on utilizing, putting out clickbait can be a necessary step to get your brand in front of your consumer's eyes. 

​The first step to getting people to purchase your product or service is to just get your foot in the door by capturing your potential consumers’ email addresses through the use of clickbait. 

​When you do this, think of it as one of these 3 things: Do, Download, or Discount. Check out the below and click the examples to see what I mean.

​DO: Have the customer do something like a quiz or a game to learn more about the product or service, or to achieve something.

​Download: Give the customer information and resources that they can download to learn more.

​Discount: Give the customer a discount and pop-up when they get to your site.
