Have you ever had Ben and Jerry’s Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz? It’s coffee ice cream with espresso bean fudge chunks, which provides that perfect jolt to wake you up. However, as a business owner, Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz isn’t the only ”buzz” that you should focus on.

All you read nowadays is everyone talking about content. It’s this buzzword that I have seen so many of these scam marketers throw out. I see businesses paying social media agencies to just get stock images and upload them. Don’t make the same mistake. It breaks my heart to see businesses not getting the value they deserve. If you aren’t into social media, you can easily sign up for Canva and make posts. In fact, the agencies you're paying a lot of money to are doing exactly that!

We all know that content is king, and helps your brand stand out. But if you create something to drive your brand, why not get as much out of it as you can? For example, this email will be: 

  • Posted as a blog on my website (I have made sure there are key SEO words in here that will spark in Google search) 

  • Repurposed for a Linkedin post

  • Adapted for a TikTok short and an Instagram reel 

  • Shared on a few CPG/Business owners groups when I see people complaining about content

  • Submitted for a few PR pitches and speaking events 


You get the point. You can create one marketing asset and use it in multiple places instead of just once!

Fall is the kick-off to Soup Season and 18 Chestnuts reached out to me in order to drive sales this holiday season. This soup has been on a roll since I took the wheel to drive their marketing efforts. I created the marketing roadmap that organized all of the areas of marketing in order for them to work in harmony. I worked with the founder to:

  • Align on who the right audience is to go after

  • Improve the customer’s shopping experience on the site and improve the basket

  • Identify the best ways to reach our audience and where to reach them

We are now seeing sales growth, which is the most important thing when you invest in marketing, am I right?
