WeeklyWed: Multimodal Multilingual Dataset for 108 languages
We recently closed the call for abstracts of Global South in AI Meetup at NeurIPS 2022 Affinity Group Meetup. It is a good point of time to learn more about language AI and we are bringing you a very special guest, Krishna Srinivasan from Google who will be talking to us about a Multimodal Multilingual dataset published by them.
Krishna is a Research Software Engineer at Google Research. His primary research interests include applications of Machine Learning to problems in Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval and Multimodality. He has previously worked on information retrieval at Google Image Search, IBM (via blekko startup acquisition), Apple and Yahoo Search.
