Nets Out Now. Join us this Friday to save our Dolphins. 🐬
Hey rare students,
As you may know, we have been proud supporters of Sea Shepherd, one of our partners committed to protecting our oceans and marine life. We believe yoga isn’t just about moving our bodies on the mat, but it’s also about coming together outside the studio as a community supporting a greater cause.
We were deeply saddened to hear about the recent incident where a dolphin got caught in a shark net just around the corner from us off Bronte Beach. And unfortunately, it passed away. It's disheartening to see the impact of these nets on our marine life and the environment.
"These shark nets are only 150 metres long, they don't go from top to bottom, they don't cover the full length of the beach, they are not a barrier," says Sea Shepherd threatened and endangered species campaigner Lauren Sandeman.
We believe it's crucial to take action and help make a difference. That's why we've teamed up with Sea Shepherd and Salties to come together this Friday morning @ Bondi Beach.
The aim of this activation is to raise awareness about the Nets Out Now campaign and bring attention to the devastating impact that shark nets have on our marine life.
We are reaching out to our community to join us in support of this important cause. We know that our community is passionate about protecting the environment and the creatures that inhabit it, and we believe that together we can make a significant impact. This is an opportunity to stand up for what we believe in and show our support for a cause that is important to us.
