There were a lot of activities in the Startup Ecosystem this week:
The Ed-Tech Company BYJU's new term with the Indian cricket team began with the recently finished South Africa tour of India. BYJU's sponsorship rights expired in March of this year, thus it reapplied to BCCI to extend the term. Its collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC) will last through 2023.
Twitter has been cautioned by the IT Ministry that if it continues to break the IT Rules, it would face serious repercussions under the IT Act. If Twitter loses its status as an intermediary, it will be equally responsible for the content uploaded on its site. Twitter and the IT Ministry have been at odds since the IT guidelines were announced in May 2021.
According to certain conditions, composition taxpayers would be permitted to make intra-state supplies via ecommerce platforms.The announcements are expected to go into effect on January 1, 2023. The GST Council's legislation committee will develop the scheme's specifics.
Several analysts anticipated that Zomato's acquisition of Blinkit will continue to impact Zomato shares in the short run. The food delivery startup's shares had dropped 6.6 percent to INR 65.85 in the previous session on June 27. Zomato announced the acquisition of Blinkit in an all-stock deal for INR 4,447 Cr on Friday (June 24).
Mukesh Ambani has resigned as Director of Reliance Jio effective from 27 June. Reliance Jio said the company's board at a meeting on 27 June, "approved the appointment of Akash M Ambani, non-executive director, as chairman of the board of directors of the company." Sources quoted as saying that Isha Ambani, who is currently acting as a director at RRL, will be promoted as the chairman of the retail unit.

Web3 News of the Week
Several activities took place in Web3 lately. With the intent to capture some of the Web3 news here we see,
📻 Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, has teamed with Khaby Lame, the most-followed TikTok producer, to raise awareness of Web3. Khaby Lame will expose myths about the Web3 area using his trademark content style.
📻 Solana Web3 Mobile Phone is about to launch, but the coin is already down 12 percent at the time of writing. The unfavorable market scenario has slowed Bitgert price increase, but the price remains constant.
📻 MPL is in advanced talks with investors including Spartan Capital, a digital asset management firm, and Polygon to fund $10-$15 million through a simple agreement for future tokens (SAFTs), valuing the startup at around $200-$250 million.
