Last month, indices showed historic monthly gains (Dow 🔼 11%, S&P 🔼 12%, Nasdaq 🔼15%). Also, we don’t have to worry about running out of gas and you can now get anti-body tested but should you go for it?

​Pre-COVID, nearly 50% of the US population believed they needed more education. Amid COVID-19 and 30M layoffs, people are taking to reskilling (want to be a falconer?) and upskilling. Ankur Nagpal’s Teachable 🔼ARR numbers show a rise in online students and entrepreneurs, like my friend, Arlan Hamilton. She’s taken what she’s learned in raising and investing millions and launched a course on How to Raise Capital for Your Company From Scratch. So, what’s going to happen next? Will founders get the biggest companies of the future funded? Will there be a great rehiring period for the reskilled and upskilled?

Personal news: I wasn’t impacted by Clubhouse FOMO. And since Josh and I have been WFH, we've decided to move back to San Diego on May 17th! I will continue to be Catalyte’s Chief of Staff and interim Sales Head for Catalyte’s remote on-demand senior developer arm. Josh will continue doing actuarial things. On our offtime, we’ll support founders through our startup-fund matching tool and cuddle with Choco!
